I think that I would like Obama. Besides just the monetary business aspect, I think that you have to look at all the parts and just from this article I think that Obama may be on the right track with his health care reform and exempting small business from having to participate and forcing the larger business and corporations to provide for their employers in one way.
I also think I would choose Obama. I agree with tracy about thinking Obama is on the right track with his health care reform, and feel that what Obama has planed so far would be more helpful then mccain.
Its really tough. McCain would have the old school mentality of big business. While you want to believe that Obama is for small business. That I am not sure about. What I do notice is the tax exempt rules for certain small businesses. I can see alot of big business's now becoming small businesses. Whose profits get passed to a hedge fund. Now they don't get taxed and more people used professional services to avoid taxes. I think it can backfire. I believe healthcare in the next 10 yrs will be a benefit not offered to anyone, or one that is completely worthless. I think Obama's plan would allow people to group together (thru a business) or make it legal to just get insurance. However are they going to exclude plenty of people so they can get the low rate. People want to exclude and when they do they are trying to exclude you. I would have to see more of McCain's details but obama is narrowling winning againsted the undecided vote.

To be honest I'm not well informed about the candidates promises and since im tryimg to educate myself so I can start a business of my own I would have to go with obama's ideas. Not only because it seems to benefit small business owners but also because I am a firm believer in change. The only thing that makes me wonder is if America is ready for chosing Obama for preident, I know I am.
I like McCain. He has more experience, plus he is a war hero. I also like Palin; she seems like a down to earth person. I don't really think it matters who becomes president. All a president is, is an escape goat for all our problems. I also don't think a president has as much say about health care, taxes, and etc. as we might think. I would be more concerned about our local leaders since they are more likely to influence our lives.
I think Obama would be the best for small business just because he seems like he's more interested in the "little guys" than McCain is. Most republicans in my opinion just seem like they're out for their own good and to make sure that the rich people stay rich. The only way that I think small business owners have a chance is if Obama becomes president.
