This video obviously proves once again that an everyday person can succeed in running a business. She mentioned very important details in operating a store, which included exceptional customer service (providing anything the customer needed, such as free parking, locating an item and bringing a smile), surrounding yourself with people smarter than you, having fun in the working environment, exploiting different areas of sales such as in store, online, and through catalog, and having an exit strategy. Her company's exit strategy was incorporating a franchising division. The video reminded the fact that we should always have great planning, looking down the road.
The videos are great examples of how people incorporate their business into their lives. They prove that it is usually more work to have a business than most people think. They are people that seem to have a passion for what they do.
