Contaminated products, again?

Should the U.S. trust products form other countries, when their products have been know to be contaminated in the past?

Its hard to imagine that a country would not send out a recall that was endangering lives, nevermind that it was the lives of babies. I can't believe that it took another country stepping in for this issue to be brought to the public. I never really paid attention to where my food came from but I think i will take a second look from now on.

One should also look at the U.S. we have beef and tomato recalls. It almost seems to happen every 3-4 months. U.S. beef exports are banned in quite a few countries. From the recalls and the mad cow disease. Quality is always a problem with China because of the corruption within the regulatory agencies. They have a serious corruption problem. They are on the verge of declairing the death penalty for corrupt government officials. However the companies never get in trouble its always just the official, not the one offering the bribe. They need the business so they are willing to look the other way.

It's a shame that the people producing this milk are adding things to sell it, but in selling it they are endangering people. I personally do not believe in selling a product that I do not believe in. Unfortunately, that is not the thinking a lot of people do. And that is obvious.

As mentioned it is so sad that the contaminates weren't stopped sooner. Relating it to our small business course it makes you realize how important it is have a financial plan that supports such problems when they arise if you are in an industry that might have problems with contaminates.
